After following a few rescue charities on FB , I was drawn to Kiki’s because the descriptions of the dogs seemed honest (they weren’t all the same). It took me a while to apply, simply because I had no idea how it all worked - getting a dog from a foreign country seemed daunting. Once I did apply, I felt the team were professional and  thorough, trying to match my lifestyle with the right dog and they recommended a few who they thought would be a good match. I felt valued for coming forward and reassured I would have support throughout the adoption and beyond. 

I now own an amazing dog called Rooney, who settled unbelievably well , maybe this was because he was six years old, so don’t dismiss the older dogs, and we couldn’t be happier with him and how professional and smooth the whole process was.
