A little more about William...

This beautiful but complex boy is William — a stunning Husky who needs an experienced, confident adopter to guide him. ✨⭐️

William is around 3–4 years old and has spent far too long in kennels. 😢 His story is heartbreaking: he was rescued in the Balkans as an abandoned, starving street dog, found lying beside his mate who had sadly died. He refused to leave her side, a moving reminder of just how loyal dogs truly are. While nothing could be done for her, William was brought to safety and nursed back to health after the harsh reality of life on the streets.

Today, he is strong, intelligent, and eager for a real home — but he needs the right one.

William is a large Husky who thrives in calm, rural environments, far away from busy areas, crowds, or traffic noise. His ideal home would have no other pets, although a gentle, non‑dominant dog might be possible. He cannot live with children.

He has a dominant streak with male dogs, though this doesn’t get him far in kennels where he lives among confident dogs. He is stubborn, exceptionally smart, and expressive — he communicates with playful growls and howls, which is just his quirky way of talking.

Because he has spent years in kennels, he will need basic house training, patience, and structure in his new home.

William has survived hardship, shown immense loyalty, and waited longer than any dog should. Now he needs someone truly experienced with Huskies — someone calm, capable, and dedicated — to give him the safe, loving home he has been denied for so long. 💕
