A little more about Tobias...
This sweet lad was rescued after being dumped as a young puppy on the streets, something heartbreakingly common in the Balkans. Had he not been saved, he likely would have been hit by a car or attacked by larger dogs. He is now safe in kennels, but he so deserves the comfort and love of a real forever home.
He is 18 months old, a bouncy, energetic boy who loves to play and gets on brilliantly with other dogs. He has previously lived happily with cats and should be fine with dog‑savvy cats, especially with slow, sensible introductions.
He would make a fantastic family dog for an active household.
This handsome black Lab/Pulin mix is small/medium size — only 13kg — but sadly he is often overlooked simply because he’s black, and because photos make him look much bigger than he really is. In person, he’s a perfectly compact, adorable little lad who deserves just as much attention as the “cute fluffy” dogs who get enquiries instantly.
As with all rescue dogs, he will need patience and understanding as he learns about lead walking, house training, and settling into a home environment. The good news? Most rescue dogs learn quickly with calm, consistent guidance, and he is eager to please.
Currently in the Balkans, he is ready to pack his bags and jump on the Happy Bus straight into the arms of his forever family in the UK.
This boy has been overlooked for all the wrong reasons — could you be the one who finally sees him?
