A little more about Summer...
This lovely soul was rescued from outside a supermarket, where she spent her days approaching passers‑by, hoping for a moment of affection or even a piece of bread. Day after day she was ignored by everyone — except our rescuer, who couldn’t turn away from her gentle nature and desperate situation. She was very skinny when she was found, and we believe she had puppies previously, although there was sadly no sign of them.
She absolutely adores human attention and thrives on affection. She gets along fine with the other dogs in the kennel and had lived peacefully with another dog while on the street, but we believe she would be happiest as the only animal in the home, soaking up all the love for herself. 💗
Summer is approximately four years old and medium in size. As an ex‑street dog, she will need the usual gentle guidance to learn toilet training, lead walking and the routines of a home, but most dogs pick these up very quickly once they feel safe and loved.
Summer is currently in the Balkans but is ready and waiting to travel to the U.K. for her forever home.
