A little more about Mikey...
This beautiful young dog was rescued after being cruelly thrown from a moving car onto a road in the Balkans. Miraculously, he escaped without injury, but he would not have survived without being taken into safety.
Despite such a heartbreaking start to life, he has remained an incredibly sweet, friendly and affectionate boy. He loves people, enjoys attention and is ready to find a family who will cherish him and give him all the love and security he deserves.
He is just 8 months old, playful, full of energy and enthusiasm, and still has all the fun-loving characteristics of a puppy. He gets on well with other dogs and is also cat-friendly, making him a wonderful addition to many types of households.
As with all rescue dogs and puppies, he will need patience, understanding and positive guidance while he learns skills such as lead walking, house training and settling into a home environment. Most rescue dogs adapt quickly when given consistency, kindness and support.
He is currently in the Balkans but is ready to travel to the UK to begin his new life with a forever family.
