A little more about Joni...
Please share and help this beautiful girl find the forever home she deserves.
We honestly don't understand why she never receives any enquiries. She is a gorgeous young dog with a wonderful temperament, yet she continues to be overlooked. Perhaps it is because she is black, as so many black dogs sadly seem to wait longer for homes than they should.
She is far too sweet to spend her young life growing up in kennels.
This lovely girl was rescued as a puppy alongside her siblings after they were found huddled together beneath a bush beside railway tracks. Vulnerable and alone, they were lucky to be found when they were.
Now one year old, she has grown into a beautiful medium to large-sized Labrador-type dog and is the smallest of her three sisters. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate, loves cuddles, and enjoys being around people. Friendly and people-orientated, she is happiest when receiving attention and spending time with those she loves.
Like any young dog, she is playful, bouncy and full of life. She gets on well with other dogs and would make a wonderful family pet for a household with children aged six and over, or a devoted companion for someone looking for a loyal and loving friend.
As with all rescue dogs, she will need patience, understanding and guidance as she learns skills such as lead walking, house training and settling into a home environment. Most rescue dogs adapt remarkably well when given kindness, consistency and the opportunity to feel safe.
She is currently in the Balkans but is ready to travel to the UK and begin the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.
Could you be the person to give this beautiful girl the loving forever home she has been waiting for? Even if you cannot adopt, sharing her story could help her reach the right person. πΎπ‘π
