Hopper was found on the streets — cold, hungry and completely alone. Someone had simply left him there to fend for himself, to starve or be hit by a car. There was no way we could leave him behind, so he was brought safely into rescue, where he has shown nothing but love and gratitude. 💖
He is just over a year old, medium in size, and a wonderfully friendly, playful and affectionate dog. Hopper gets along beautifully with other dogs and is also very smart, eager to learn and eager to please. He would make a fantastic companion or a lovely family dog, ideally with children over six.
As with all rescue dogs, Hopper will need patience and understanding while he learns the basics — lead walking, house training and settling into a home environment. Most rescue dogs pick these things up quickly once they feel safe and loved, and Hopper is no exception.
He is ready now to find the warm, loving home he should have had from the beginning. If you have a sofa to share and a heart big enough for this sweet boy, Hopper will give you endless loyalty in return.
