A little more about Harleen...
Harleen is a beautiful, sweet, and incredibly smart little girl. She’s currently thriving in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever family.
She is a complex soul with some reactivity to certain things — including some men, people who appear fearful of her, or individuals people who might move or behave in ways she finds unfamiliar. With patience, consistent training, and gentle reassurance, these worries can absolutely be overcome. Her wonderful bond with her foster dad shows just how deeply she can trust when given the time and space she needs.
Harleen tends to form an especially strong attachment to the primary female caregiver in the home and will happily become their little shadow. She is also extremely cuddly and adores sleeping in your arms like a baby — she’s a true snugglebug at heart.
She gets along well with most other dogs, though she would also be perfectly content as the only dog in the home. She’s fine with confident, dog-savvy cats too.
A devoted treat lover and enthusiastic food monster, Harleen makes training both fun and effective. She’s still very much a pup and will benefit from continued learning, but her intelligence and eagerness make her a joy to teach.
She does still have some fear around certain men. A home with all females would be ideal, but she can absolutely live with men who are patient, gentle, and willing to take the time to earn her trust.
Overall, she is a gorgeous, loving girl with so much potential — ready to blossom even more in the right home.
