A little more about Georgia...
Nearly five years of waiting, and we hope Georgia's time has finally come.
Georgia is a beautiful girl with a fluffy white coat, possibly with some Collie in her mix. She is over five years old and, sadly, has spent most of that time living in kennels.
She was rescued after being abandoned on the streets, a heartbreaking reality for many dogs in the Balkans. Despite her difficult start in life, Georgia has remained sweet, friendly and affectionate. She enjoys both human company and the company of other dogs.
Georgia deserves the chance to experience life as a cherished family pet in a warm and loving home. As she has spent so much of her life in kennels, she is unlikely to be familiar with many aspects of home life. She may never have walked on a lead or experienced the comfort of a sofa and a secure home environment. She will therefore need a patient and understanding adopter who can help her adjust at her own pace.
Although she has missed out on so much, Georgia is still a lovely, energetic girl with a positive nature, and we believe she has the potential to settle into home life very quickly with the right support and encouragement.
She is currently in kennels in Serbia but is ready to travel to the UK to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. Could you be the person to give Georgia the happy ending she has been waiting for?
