This lovely boy is around 5 years old and is a small to medium-sized Dachshund mix looking for a family to call his own. He is affectionate, enjoys cuddles, and would make a wonderful companion for the right home.
He loves the company of other dogs and would need a home with another friendly resident dog to play and socialise with. He would also benefit from a secure garden where he can run around, explore and enjoy life outside. With his sweet nature, he would make a fantastic companion or family dog for a household with children aged 6 and over.
He was rescued as a hungry street dog who was clearly struggling to survive without the love, care and security every dog deserves. Although he is now safe, he is currently living in kennels in the Balkans and would love nothing more than a place of his own to curl up, relax and be part of a family.
As with all rescue dogs, he will need patience, understanding and guidance as he learns skills such as lead walking, house training and settling into a home environment. Most rescue dogs adapt very well when given kindness, consistency and the opportunity to feel safe.
He is currently in the Balkans but is ready to travel to the UK and begin his new life with a loving family.
