A little more about Dora...

This beautiful young girl is looking for a family to call her own. She loves exploring the world around her but is equally happy curled up beside you for cuddles. Please don't let her become another overlooked black dog growing up in kennels when she has so much love to give.

Last October, three tiny puppies were discovered hiding under a bush, cold, frightened, and whimpering. Their mother had tucked them away there while she searched for food and returned shortly afterwards. Thankfully, we were able to rescue the entire family and bring them to safety.

She has spent the last few months in foster care, meaning she is already familiar with living in a home environment and is likely to understand the basics of house training.

This lovely girl is just under a year old and currently weighs 8kg. She is small in size, although she may grow a little more and reach small to medium size as an adult. She is incredibly affectionate and loves attention, always happy to soak up fuss and cuddles from the people she trusts.

She is friendly, playful, and full of puppy energy. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, her sweet nature soon shines through once she feels comfortable. She also has a wonderfully cheeky personality and isn't afraid to "talk back" from time to time.

She adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a resident dog companion or regular opportunities for doggy playdates. She is also good with cats and can live with children aged six years and over.

Like all rescue dogs, she will need patience, understanding, and guidance as she settles into her new home. Although she already understands some of the basics, she may still need help with lead walking, routine building, and house training in a new environment. With kindness and consistency, most rescue dogs adapt quickly and become wonderful family companions.

She is currently in the Balkans but is ready to pack her bags and travel to her forever home in the UK.

She will be spayed and microchipped before travel and will have all necessary vaccinations and health tests completed, including Brucella testing.
