A little more about Clyde...

This lovely young boy is looking for a family of his own. He loves to play, explore, and have fun, but he is just as happy snuggling up for cuddles afterwards. Please don't let him become another overlooked black dog growing up in kennels when he has so much love to give.

Last October, three tiny puppies were found hiding beneath a bush, cold, frightened, and whimpering. Their mother had hidden them there while she searched for food and returned shortly afterwards. Thankfully, we were able to rescue the entire family and bring them to safety.

He has spent the last few months in foster care, so he is already familiar with living in a home environment and is likely to understand the basics of house training.

At just six months old, he is the biggest of the three siblings and currently weighs 12kg. He is expected to grow into a medium-sized adult. Despite his size, he is a real softie who loves cuddles and affection. His foster carer affectionately describes him as "a chunky little cuddle bug", which suits him perfectly.

He is very friendly, playful, and full of puppy charm. Sweet-natured and affectionate, he loves attention and enjoys being made a fuss of. He also adores other dogs and would be happiest in a home with another resident dog or regular opportunities for doggy playdates.

He can be homed with children aged six years and over and is also good with cats.

As with all rescue dogs and puppies, he will need patience, understanding, and guidance as he settles into his new home. Although he is already used to living indoors and may understand some of the basics, he will still need help with lead walking, routine building, and house training as he adjusts to a new environment. With kind and consistent support, rescue puppies usually learn very quickly.

He is currently in the Balkans but is ready to pack his bags and travel to his forever home in the UK.

He will be neutered and microchipped before travel and will have all necessary vaccinations and health tests completed, including Brucella testing.
