A little more about Boo...
This lovely girl has spent most of her life in kennels in the Balkans, which is heartbreaking when you consider she has been waiting nearly five years for a family of her own.
She was found as a young puppy tied to a lamppost beside a road. She was desperately hungry, thirsty and completely alone. Countless people passed by without stopping to help, until one of our team saw her and took her to safety. While her life was saved, she has now spent far too long growing up in kennels and deserves the chance to experience life as a cherished family pet.
She is approximately five years old and is a large-sized dog with a wonderfully friendly and good-natured personality. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is a robust, intelligent girl who is highly trainable. She has plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life, so she will need an active home where she can enjoy regular exercise and outdoor adventures, along with a good-sized garden to play in.
She would make a fantastic family dog for an active household and has all the qualities needed to become a loyal and devoted companion. While she has not been formally assessed with children, we would consider homes with children aged six years and above. She has not been cat tested.
As with all rescue dogs, she will need patience, understanding and guidance while she learns about life in a home, including lead walking, house training and settling into a new routine. Most rescue dogs adapt very well when given time, consistency and positive encouragement.
She is currently in the Balkans but is ready to travel to the UK to begin her new life with a loving family. Could you be the one to give this deserving girl the home she has been waiting so long for? ❤️
