This lovely dog was rescued as a puppy, along with his siblings, after they were abandoned at a rubbish tip and left vulnerable to starvation and attacks from larger dogs.
As a result of his difficult start in life, he can be understandably nervous around new people and will need time, patience and understanding to build his confidence. He would thrive with a calm and patient owner who can support him at his own pace.
Once he feels safe and settled, he is a playful, affectionate and very sweet-natured dog. He loves the company of other dogs, and having a resident dog in the home, or regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs, would likely help him continue to grow in confidence.
He is nearly three years old and is a small to medium-sized dog. When settled, he is playful, loving and enjoys spending time with other dogs.
Like all rescue dogs, he will need patience and guidance as he learns everyday skills such as lead walking, house training and adjusting to life in a home environment. Most rescue dogs adapt remarkably well when given consistent support and understanding.
He is currently in the Balkans but is ready to pack his bags and travel to the UK to begin his new life with a loving family. Could you be the person to give him the happy ending he deserves? 🐾🏡
