Sweetheart Scout
'So gentle and loving. She is beautiful inside and out’ (these are the words of her foster carer).
Scout is a stunning girl, nearly 3 years old and a large-ish build.
She will probably be very shy and nervous to begin with so expect her to take a few weeks to settle in and find her paws.
Just let her start to interact and explore in her own time. It's well worth the wait to see her make great progress.
She will need a calm, quiet home with gentle encouragement to come out of her shell.
She will also need a big, secure garden to explore, as she could not go for walks on a lead or go into busy places at this point, and it may be something that will always be too much for her. She is still young, however, and with time and patience she may gain the confidence.
She is good with other dogs. A gentle soul who wouldn’t hurt a fly. She would benefit from a kind and calm sibling who could help her grow in confidence.
Scout is very empathetic, and can tell if someone is upset, and will go and cuddle/comfort that person
She is undemanding and fine being left for short periods.
She has been in her foster home for nearly 3 months and in that time she hasn’t reacted adversely to anything or anyone. Neither has she barked!
